Upload & Encoding
There are three ways to upload to dartfish.tv: 1) Dartfish video analysis software 2) Dartfish Express App 3) Dartfish Player software.
Upload from Dartfish
Dartfish offers several upload routes depending on the tools you use and the desired result. Use the Library’s Share feature to bulk upload video clips. Use Mediabook publishing to upload multiple videos as a single video document which includes all the video enrichment added by Dartfish’s Analyzer tools. Use >Tagging to publish highlights movies or whole games; in either case you choose which events to include.
Upload from mobile
Dartfish Express is a great mobile App that unleashes your power to communicate with video. Record and instantly give feedback with the aid of powerful replay controls. Take still shots of key positions and enhance them with drawings and comments. This enriched video can now be published from your smart phone or tablet directly to dartfish.tv.
Upload from the Dartfish Player
The Dartfish Player is free software for your PC which can import video from your hard drive or camcorder and upload it to dartfish.tv. Fine control over video replay makes observational analysis superior to that by typical PC media players but otherwise the Player has no analysis or annotation tools. Where this is required, channel admins can give editing rights to allow contributors to add markers and description online: here the Dartfish Player is the upload tool and Dartfish.tv is the annotation tool.
Simple encoding
Dartfish.tv democratizes video publishing for a non-technical audience. Video quality is defined for your channel so all that is required is upload. The only decision for publishers is whether they also want to provide a second, higher quality video for download.
